About Mik

Mike White, a third generation real estate agent, has been in real estate since he was thirteen…raking out trailers that he purchased with his sister with money that they earned raising 4-H farm animals. Working his way through college, Mike worked as a local firefighter/EMT for four years. That's where he gets his sense of urgency and love of service to others. He also still looks for the exit every time he enters a building. After graduating college with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Mike worked his way up the corporate ladder to become the manager of all of Fed Ex Freight East in Southern Arizona. That has taught him that a customer centered focus drives every successful business. Mike's experience in real estate includes many years with Long Realty setting up local home tours and coordinating open houses as well as training new agents. Mike knows what motivates other agents and how to handle even the toughest ones. He has worked hard to establish relationships with most of the agents in town to work to get you the inside information. Mike has also worked for Maracay Homes, a new home developer, working at the site sales office as a salesperson. He is great at working with your site sales agents to get you the lowest price and the most incentives for your new home purchase, since he has worked both sides of that table. Today, Mike is the associate broker at Habitation Realty. It's a vision he had after navigating the Tucson real estate world for 35 years. He wanted to create a firm that serves it clients with pride, supporting its people after the sale, and smart about the way it negotiates on its client's behalf. Mike lives in a vintage home built in the 20's with his young son in and his lovely wife, Erika. In addition to being the president of the Iron Horse Neighborhood Association he is also chairman of one of the largest vintage motorcycle shows in Arizona and has put on five successful vintage bike shows. Mike's other hobbies include restoring a vintage 1964 Chevy truck and 1950 Burdette travel trailer. Clearly, Mike is completely invested in the vintage ethic and understands how to translate that to a buyer looking for vintage home. Mike is a specialist in Tucson construction techniques especially adobe. Mike has remodeled at least six of his own houses and worked on many projects with his business partner Alex including new construction projects. Mike has wired, plumbed, insulated, drywalled, re-roofed and re-floored entire houses. He has sold every kind of adobe home you can imagine including two story adobe homes.
